The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang

This was a beautifully written story about an autistic woman's quest for a stable relationship. The first intimate scene was crafted so well, I felt like I was with Michael and Stella in the hotel bathroom. There was a push-and-pull element to their intimacy that was a bit jarring at times, but considering her issues with being touched and his Daddy issues, that was excusable.
I enjoy a quirky heroine, and Stella did not disappoint. I totally related to her dating dilemma . . . her chosen path to a solution, not so much. Even though her choice caused me to raise a brow, I was 100% committed to going with her on this journey. At times, I cringed. At other times, I wanted to cry.
Michael is a complex hero. Did I like him? Yes. He's a good guy who was forced to make some tough decisions to care for the people he loved. Is he book boyfriend material? I'll pass.
